Pre-seed founder ships brand + site + investor deck in a weekend
A solo technical founder builds an investor-ready brand surface and pitch deck without hiring a designer or burning runway on an agency.
Outcomes
- Total time: 1 weekend
- Slides delivered: 12
- Brand directions: 3 explored
- Spend on freelancers: €0
Highlights
- Three distinct brand directions explored before locking one
- Logo mark generated and refined inside the same session
- Responsive landing page exported and deployed to a custom domain
- 12-slide investor deck with speaker notes and presenter view
- All assets visually consistent because they share one brand context
The constraint
A pre-seed technical founder had eleven days until a demo-day pitch and no designer on the team. Available capital made an agency engagement unrealistic; freelancer turnaround would not clear the deadline.
The decision was to compress the full identity-to-pitch surface into a single weekend using Communication Designer as the production pipeline.
Saturday — brand and product surface
The Brand Kit Generator produced three full directions (palette, typography pairing, voice descriptors). The founder picked one and locked it as the brand context for every downstream tool.
The Logo Generator produced six concept marks against the locked palette; one was refined into the final mark by the end of Saturday.
The Website Generator produced a single responsive landing page in the locked brand. Output was HTML/CSS/JS, deployed to a custom domain by Saturday evening.
Sunday — pitch surface
The Presentation Generator produced a 12-slide investor deck (problem, market, product, traction, ask) inheriting the brand kit automatically. Speaker notes were generated per slide and tightened by hand.
The deck exported cleanly to PDF and to a hosted preview link the founder shared with two advisors before Monday.
Outcome
The pitch landed on schedule with a coherent brand surface across landing page, deck and supporting one-pagers. The founder reported zero spend on external designers across the launch surface.
The same brand kit was reused four weeks later for the first paid acquisition test — keeping every ad and social asset visually consistent without a second design pass.
